Halloween party looks require careful preparation. Most frightening heroes are all kinds of representatives of the other world. In order to "revive" such characters, one costume will not be enough. An impressive effect can only be achieved with a comprehensive approach to creating an image. In other words, you should think over the smallest details, from carnival attire to chilling make-up, which will help to convey the character of the chosen hero as accurately as possible.

Today we will tell you how to make up the most beloved Halloween characters - the fatal vampire, the mysterious ghost and the charming witch.

Vampire.
Vampires are the obligatory guests of Halloween. This image has been especially popular in recent years, which was greatly facilitated by the Twilight movie saga.

For a vampire makeup, you will need not only cosmetics, but also contact lenses. Today, specialized stores offer a huge assortment of colored carnival lenses dedicated to vampire themes. If you have never worn contact lenses before, we strongly recommend that you first consult with your doctor to determine the correct accessory size for your eyes. Before the party, you should also arrange a kind of test run: if you feel some discomfort after spending 5-10 minutes in the lenses, then there is a high probability that it will be difficult for you to spend a longer time in them. In any case, you should not save on this accessory: high-quality lenses will allow you to feel comfortable all evening.

Now let's get to the makeup.
1. Using a sponge, apply foundation 1-2 shades lighter than your complexion. Using white theatrical makeup, highlight the T-zone by gently spreading a small amount of product from the middle of the forehead to the nose and chin with a sponge. Then blend the makeup so that it completely covers the back of the nose and the area under the eyes and upper lip.
2. Apply a shimmery white eye shadow to the upper eyelid and blend it to the brow line and the corner of the eyes.
3. Using red-brown eye shadow and a comfortable brush, draw arrows.

4. Now add a bright red accent by applying eye shadow of the appropriate shade along the lash line along the upper and lower eyelids.
5. With black shadows, draw arrows along the red base, without painting over it completely.
6. Set the effect of "cat's eyes" with black gel eyeliner.

7. Apply several coats of your favorite mascara. For a more expressive look, you can use false eyelashes.
8. Accentuate the brows by carefully blending black or charcoal eyeshadow and line the inner eyelid with a black pencil.

9. Highlight the line of the cheekbones and temples with a self-tanner, applying a dry product with a wide brush.

10. Using the same black gel eyeliner, partially paint over the lips, leaving the inner area untouched.
11. Now, with a thin brush, apply bright red lipstick to the remaining areas.

Ready! It remains to complement the image with false fangs and a black cape to enhance the mystical effect.

Ghost.
The ghost is a classic character of the holiday of evil spirits. To create it, you do not need a special carnival costume: any shapeless white hoodie will do. But over the makeup will have to work hard.

In order for the image to turn out to be truly spectacular, you should purchase a wig in white or light gray. So you can bring the character to a whole new level. If buying a wig is not included in your plans, then you should cover your hair with a white hood.

1. If you have sensitive skin, then first apply your usual foundation, which will serve as a protective barrier, since ghost makeup involves the use of dense products that have drying properties.
2. Using a sponge, spread the white make-up evenly over your face.
3. Lightly go over the face with a wide brush with colorless powder, without rubbing the makeup. This will help set the white base.

4. Apply a purple shade on the upper eyelid, carefully blending them. Gently swipe the brush along the lower eyelid along the lash line.
5. Using a thin brush, spread the shadow of a more saturated tone from the inner to the outer corner of the eyes, again walking along the lash line.
6. To enhance the effect, add shades of a red-brown color scheme, applying them to the lower eyelid under the purple line and to the crease of the upper eyelid.

7. Apply some glittery silver false eyelashes.
8. Underline the line under the cheekbones with gray shadows. This will create the effect of sunken cheeks.
9. Lightly line your lips with purple eyeliner to give your face some definition.

Here we have such a charming ghost.

Witch.
The main female image of Halloween is a witch. This character's makeup may vary. We will try to embody the heroine using makeup in greenish tones, which will help emphasize the otherworldly essence of the witch and her magical abilities.

By the way, a similar make-up with some adjustments can also be used to create other fairy-tale characters: goblin, water, zombie, sorcerer, etc.

1. Apply a make-up base to your skin.
2. Using light green makeup and a soft sponge, give the face and neck the desired shade.

3. Highlight the cheekbones, nose wings, temples and hairline with a richer tone of makeup.
4. Set the result with a colorless powder, lightly touching the face with a brush.

5. Now you can start eye makeup. Using a fluffy brush, emphasize the outer and inner corners with emerald shadows, drawing a line along the crease of the upper eyelid and bringing it to the wings of the nose.
6. Highlight the lower eyelid with dark gray shadows, applying them along the lash line.
7. Add bright golden shadows, emphasizing the inner corners of the eyes with their help.

8. Using liquid black eyeliner, apply thin, neat arrows to the upper and lower eyelids.
9. Apply false eyelashes.
10. Draw a line of eyebrows with a dark pencil, emphasizing the natural curve.

11. Draw a line of golden glitter eyeliner along the lower eyelid and inside the corner of the eyes.
12. Accentuate the contours of the face by applying emerald shadows under the cheekbones with a wide brush.
13. With shadows with shimmering particles, highlight the area under the eyes and between the eyebrows, the wings of the nose and the middle of the chin.

14. Line your lips with a purple lip liner and fill them in with shimmery lavender eye shadow.

Now it remains to add only the finishing touch, decorating the hair with a tall witch's hat.

Happy Halloween to you!
